What to See

Rogers and Northwest Arkansas offer must-see local attractions no matter the interest. From outdoor adventure to historical sites to live music and craft beer, there’s something for everyone. Stretching through the beautiful Northwest Arkansas Ozarks is Scenic Highway 12, extending from Highway 71, through Historic Downtown Rogers, east along the south side of Beaver Lake and connecting with Highway 23 into Eureka Springs. Traveling this route is a sight seeing experience where you will find some of the friendliest people and unspoiled forests.

Daisy Airgun Museum

Daisy is known from the movie A Christmas Story where Ralphie asks for a Daisy BB Gun for Christmas. With more than 150 air rifles and toys on display, you can take a chronological tour of Daisy’s history. End the tour to see a complete line of the current Daisy products offered today. The Daisy Airgun Museum is also home to the “World’s Largest Daisy BB Gun.” Pro tip: let Daisy ship your gun back home for you!

War Eagle Mill

Visit a working water-powered grist mill and scenic Ozark site featuring the Historic War Eagle Bridge. The first floor is dedicated gift shop with organic and non-GMO grains, flours, and mixes. Visit the third floor War Eagle Mill CafĂ© for breakfast and dinner. Pro tip: order the beans and cornbread and don’t skip dessert!

War Eagle Cavern

Located one-half mile off Scenic HWY 12 on Beaver Lake, the cavern hours affordable fun for any age. Featuring a natural entrance to the cave, you can follow the meandering stream straight into the mountain, with wide, level pathways, unique formations, two waterfalls, and an underground lake.

What to Do

Susie Q Malt Shop

As your riding in the Ozarks, there’s lots to do to keep you busy. If you’re looking for some good food and a little bit of history, head to Susie Q Malt Shop. Susie Q. Malt Shop opened in June of 1960 and while the owner may have changed, ownership remains in the family who continues to operate the great old fashion dairy bar. From peanut butter finger shakes, curly fries, to a juicy cheeseburger, Susie Q has it all.

Ozark Beer Company

Feeling thirsty? Head to downtown Rogers and enjoy Ozark Beer Company, a local brewery that produces a variety of year-round and seasonal beers offered in pints, flights, growlers, and cans to go. The taproom is open 7 days a week and often features local food trucks for lunch and dinner. Year-round beers include: Ozark IPA, Ozark Cream Stout, Ozark Lager, and their American Pale Ale. Prairie Creek Marina

If you’re looking for a good backdrop for some photos, head to Prairie Creek Marina. As your gateway to Beaver Lake, the marina showcases the beauty the Ozark region. Snap a quick photo or make a whole day of it by renting a boat.

Pea Ridge National Military Park

If you’re a history buff, Pea Ridge National Military Park is for you! Nestled in the Ozark Hills, learn about the history of the battle that saved Missouri for the union. The military park is a 4,300 acre battlefield that honors those who fought and died on these grounds.
